The Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship is awarded each year to academically talented students transferring to Indiana University.

$3,000 for one academic year ($1,500 per semester)

Eligibility
Recipients must meet all of the following criteria:
- Indiana resident
- Member of Phi Theta Kappa international honor society
- Attend a PTK institution in the state of Indiana
- Have an overall 3.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application for admission
- Meet transfer admission standards
- Must pay enrollment deposit to Indiana University by no later than May 1, 2013
- Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester at IUB, beginning in Fall 2013
Note: Students with previous bachelor's degrees, students who have previously attended an IU campus, and re-enrolling IU Bloomington students are not eligible for this award.
How to be Considered for this Award

Must be admitted as a transfer student to Indiana University for Fall 2013
- E-mail the Office of Scholarships at achieve@indiana.edu requesting PTK scholarship consideration (include full name, IU student ID number, and date of birth)
- Separate scholarship application is not required
- Pay enrollment deposit by no later than May 1, 2013
- Interested students must request PTK scholarship consideration from the Office of Scholarships by no later than May 1, 2013 for Fall 2013 awards
