Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship: Office of Scholarships: Indiana University Bloomington

The Phi Theta Kappa Transfer Scholarship is awarded each year to academically talented students transferring to Indiana University.

Scholarship Award

$3,000 for one academic year ($1,500 per semester)
Competitive and based on cumulative GPA
Limited number of awards

Eligibility

Recipients must meet all of the following criteria:

Indiana resident
Member of Phi Theta Kappa international honor society
Attend a PTK institution in the state of Indiana
Have an overall 3.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application for admission
Meet transfer admission standards
Must pay enrollment deposit to Indiana University by no later than May 1, 2013
Enroll in a minimum of 12 credit hours per semester at IUB, beginning in Fall 2013

Note: Students with previous bachelor's degrees, students who have previously attended an IU campus, and re-enrolling IU Bloomington students are not eligible for this award.

How to be Considered for this Award

Must be admitted as a transfer student to Indiana University for Fall 2013
E-mail the Office of Scholarships at achieve@indiana.edu requesting PTK scholarship consideration (include full name, IU student ID number, and date of birth)
Separate scholarship application is not required
Pay enrollment deposit by no later than May 1, 2013
Interested students must request PTK scholarship consideration from the Office of Scholarships by no later than May 1, 2013 for Fall 2013 awards
